The liberty to work from home is great, but it’s sometimes difficult to preserve healthy boundaries between professional and personal lives.
- Have a separate area for work. This makes it mentally easier to move from work mode to home mode.
- Engage in physical activity after work time. Take a walk, exercise or stretch to get your mind off work.
- Plan after work activities. With little boundaries between work and personal life, it’s easy to get carried and work round the clock. Plan fun activities after work hours; visit friends, read a book, drink wine, whatever suits your fancy. 🙂
